I’ve been having back problems for the longest. Recently things got a little out of hand and Monday I ended up in the ER, Tuesday, I had an MRI and met with a doctor and Wednesday, I had back surgery.
This whole thing made me realize just how many awesome people I have in my life. People who are genuine and kind and caring. That rub your feet and feed you and make sure you wake up to take your meds. I don’t think surgery is ever convenient, but my roommates and I have been trying to move this week and Cori literally moved ALL my stuff into the new house. These are such good people.
Just feeling really thankful.

Cori and I got up and went to Atlanta. We sat in traffic, saw a lot of gnomes, went shopping, ate pretzels, bought fake tickets from a scalper, had a nice ticket taker, made it into Chastain park, listened to The Beach Boys play and danced our hearts out.
In case you had any doubt about it, it’s officially summer.
